The United States Mint issued two special Proof American Eagle coins in 2020. These issues in the Proof American Gold and Proof American Silver Series featured a V75 privy mark on the obverse side. This special privy mark and the associated mintage cap assigned to each version of the coin were both in honor of the 75^th anniversary of the end of World War II. The V75 Privy Proof American Eagle coins were issued in the coveted Gold Eagle and Silver Eagle Series. Each coin has a unique privy mark on the obverse that takes the shape of the Rainbow Pool. The Rainbow Pool is a reflecting pool that was built in the 1920s and incorporated into the National World War II Memorial when it was built in the early 2000s. Inside of the privy mark is an inscription of “V75.”

American bald eagles are featured in the reverse design of 2020-W V75 Privy Proof Gold Eagle Coins. The design comes from Miley Busiek and is exclusive to this series. It depicts a male eagle flying over the nest as a female eagle shelters a young hatchling under her wing.
